I’ve got an idea that I want to run by everybody, you probably drink coke or some other carbonated beverage. Chances are that they are giving away music downloads if you drink about 5 of their drinks. So here’s what I’m suggesting. Start saving those codes in your bottles and cans, redeem them to grow your Christian music collection. Redeem the points to redeem your music collection!
I know that there is a lot of really great music out there being made by Christians, everything from Rap to Rock. Use these free downloads as a chance to get to know some of it. I’ve already downloaded 4 songs that I’ve wanted but just couldn’t bring myself to buy. I’m going to buy my coke or pepsi, so I’m just getting an added bump.
Let’s see what happens in our lives if we start to put more music that proclaims God’s goodness and love into our ears. I know it might not be cool or popular, but Christ calls us to be more than cool or popular, he calls us to be like Him. If listening to music that is about Jesus or the things that he loved can make us more like Him then, let’s see what happens when we redeem our music.

Well the votes are tallied and Cleaning Litterboxes just edges out doing Yard Work for least favorite chore. That means that there are some people who would rather get their faces down in feces than pick up some leaves.
Next up after that was Vacuuming with 13% of the vote, cats and dogs hate the sound of the dreaded vacuum but it’s music to most peoples ears.
The one that gets me is that most people like Scrubbing Dishes. Although, given the option between messing around with poop or washing some dishes off I’d take dishes almost every time.
Which is why I thought Taking out the trash would get more than one vote, it brings all those other nasty things together in one place. Maybe there is poop and old food in the bag? Who knows!
Last but not least, with no votes, everyone loves to dust. It’s like the cruise control of modern chores. You can practically dance as you perform this one.
Thanks to everyone who took the time to vote in the most recent poll. Make sure you give your opinion in the next.

I am so glad that a few of the youth showed up to be a part of the experiencing God kick-off. It’s ok if you missed the first day, you’re still invited to the next two. In fact I would hate for you to miss anymore of the days. It was a great time and I’m excited about what God is going to do through the study of His word. I think things kick off around 8 or 9 AM tomorrow, but call the church to make sure.
I’m sure some of you were at the Woodland game, we missed you and hope you make it out to the next sessions. Do you guys have any pictures from the game?
Finally, last but not least. I found something pretty awesome called, “two ways to live.” It’s a little online evangelism thing. It may be one of the simplest ways to share the gospel that I’ve ever seen. I love it, love it, love it and want you to take a minute and check it out. So, here you go! 2 Ways

I was checking out Stuff Christians Like, one of my favorite blogs, and he put up an idea that I think will take our fellowship time to a whole new level. It’s not meet and greet. It’s . . .
MEET AND DEFEAT! ! !
It’s basically a competition to see who can greet the most people. This of course is a gentleman’s wager and nothing but pride and the occasional lunch on the line. See you at church . . . if you think you can handle it.
Go here for the article and the loose rules of Meet & Defeat.
